Cafe del Mar Meloneras

We had such a great time at Café del Mar Gran Canaria! The drinks were fantastic, and it was brilliant watching the bartender making cocktails. A special mention to José Luis, who served us — he was so friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The live band was incredible and created such a great atmosphere. We’d definitely come back again!

Very pleasant evening. Staff where a little nonchalant and menu was quite confusing as it didn't flow, jumped from mains to starters then back to mains . I think a hand held menu would help and not one you have to download. The entertainment was brilliant but found it a little too loud. We would definitely come back as we did enjoy the food .

Had an excellent night, entertainment was superb. The truffle croquettes were amazing, the lamb was even better, do try the bread & olive oil very tasty. We had a Shisha which lasted a while too. Excellent value for money, you’ll have to pay to get in for such entertainment elsewhere… will definitely try again.

Had a great evening here last night and would strongly recommend. We had the prawn gyozas and the foccacia with sun dried tomatos which were both fantastic. As a bit of a warning; the foccacia is very big. Its the same price as the other starters so we were a bit surprised when this huge slab arrived so unless you're very hungry, consider that one a sharer. For mains it was the BBQ pork and shoulder of lamb. The lamb was beautiful, very tender and fell off the bone. The entertainment started just as we arrived and was pretty good, a very eclectic mix of singers, dancers and a violinist with an equally eclectic mix of songs. All in all we had a top evening, will be back next time we come to the island.

Pre-booked a table for dinner and glad we did. A superb evening with good quality food and great entertainment (starting at 9:30pm on a Saturday). Very attentive table service through the meal and once plates were cleared you just needed to ask for any extras. We had the steak and octopus which were both delicious. Table was secure for 1 hour 45 minutes before potentially being moved to the bar area but we were able to stay at our table due to our booking time and no one waiting looking for dinner. Would recommend for a nice dining/entertaining experience. Guitar and violinist were amazing.

Another fabulous night at the cafe del mar! Fantastic food, the best atmosphere, wonderful staff. Entertained from thw minute we clsat down until the minute we left. Can't wait to come back again xx
